Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke is reported to have addressed the last speech in the conference, welcoming the summit.
Prime Minister Sharmarke had also thanked the joint Somali and African forces who have stepped up the security of the capital amid the meeting.
IGAD foreign ministers have on their side termed the conference as a historical one, saying Somalia has restored its position in IGAD.
Ethiopian Foreign minister Tedros Adhanom had read the conference communiqué which most of it focused on Somalia and its development towards stability.
This was the second Intergovernmental Authority on Development’s ministerial meeting ever held in Somalia where the first was in 1985.
The security of war torn city was beef up by Somali Federal government forces and AMISOM troops to enable the conference happen safely.
